Friends of deFremery is just that, a group of concerned citizens devoted to the
preservation and continuation of programs for families at the park in West
Oakland. Every Friends of deFremery board member has benefited from the
community spirit that evolves when you have a central place to be together.
deFremery Center has been that hub for West Oakland residents for a century.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are dedicated to the well being of children
and the families that support them.
